Probably not — and we'd rather say so than sell you a job you don't need. The panel needs a free slot and the service needs capacity, which is why we check both first. The typical job is a handful of new dedicated circuits, kitchen and bathroom circuits brought up to current requirements, and GFCI and AFCI protection where code requires it — completed in days rather than weeks.

Several — and a full rewire is the last of them rather than the first. The recognised concern with aluminium branch circuits is the terminations rather than the cable in the wall, so the accepted remediation approaches work at the connections: replacing devices with ones rated for aluminium conductors, or using listed connectors or crimps to transition to copper at each device and junction.
